At Stone Creek Ranch, hunters have the opportunity to pursue mature Asian Water Buffalo in a controlled Texas ranch setting with experienced guides who understand the animal, the terrain, and the strategy needed for a successful hunt. These animals are large, tough, and highly aware of their surroundings, which makes every encounter exciting from the moment they are spotted.

Asian Water Buffalo are often found near water, low areas, cover, and open feeding areas. Their size may make them easy to recognize from a distance, but closing the gap and setting up the right shot requires patience and careful movement. Whether you are hunting from a blind, using a safari-style approach, or working with your guide to spot and stalk, this is a hunt that delivers both challenge and reward.

Hunting Asian Water Buffalo at Stone Creek Ranch gives hunters a true trophy exotic experience right here in Central Texas. Our guides scout the ranch daily, help identify mature animals, and work with each hunter to create the best possible opportunity in the field. From arrival to departure, our goal is to provide a comfortable, exciting, and unforgettable hunting experience.

All-Inclusive Hunting Packages:

You may hunt using any method you prefer, including Spot and Stalk, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Pistol Hunting, Safari Style, or from a Blind. Our Packages Include:

Single Room: $550/night + Trophy Fee
Double Room: $900/night + Trophy Fee

• Non-Hunting Guests $450 / night
• Chef prepared meals
• One-on-one Guide Service
• Ranch Transportation to and from the field
• Trophy Care (field dressing, caping, quartering of meat, and storage in our onsite refrigerated cooler)
• Transportation for your Trophy to the Ranch’s local Taxidermist and/or to local meat processor.(Hunter makes all other arrangements with Taxidermist and meat processor.)
• Game Room, Trophy Bass and Crappie Fishing and other activities as time allows.

NOTE: Hunters are encouraged to tip the guides 10-15%. Bowhunters are encouraged to tip guides 20%. There will also be a $175 ranch access fee applied to the final bill.
